House rules and how a booking works.
House rules
Each home has its own rules, pulled from Guesty and shown on the listing. Across the collection: no parties, no indoor smoking, quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and no guests beyond the listed occupancy. Pets are allowed only where the listing says so.
Direct booking discount
Book direct and the accommodation fare is 10% lower than the channel rate. The discount is a Guesty coupon named DIRECT10. It does not reduce the cleaning fee. If the coupon is missing from a quote, checkout shows the full Guesty price instead of a made-up discount.
Taxes
Tax is calculated by Guesty. This account uses a 16% tax on direct bookings. Checkout displays the tax line from the quote. The site does not add a second tax on top.
Payment
When Stripe is connected inside Guesty, card checkout can be switched on. The card is tokenized in that Stripe account and the token is sent to Guesty with a confirmed reservation. This website does not charge the card on its own. Until then, checkout accepts a booking request only. Nothing is charged, and Guesty holds the dates while MAMS confirms the stay.
Cancellation
A listing-specific cancellation policy will be shown here once it is set on the Guesty rate plan. Until then, cancellations are handled by the host. Write to hello@mamsrentals.com with your confirmation code. Guesty’s booking API does not let guests change or cancel a reservation from this site.
