Studio City takes its name from the studio lot at its heart, now CBS Studio Center, where film and television have been made since the 1920s. Today it is one of the most popular neighborhoods in the Valley for visitors who want restaurants, coffee, and shops close by while staying near Universal Studios Hollywood.
Ventura Boulevard runs through the middle of Studio City with sushi bars, bakeries, and casual spots for every meal. Just off the boulevard, Tujunga Village is a small, walkable strip of independent cafes and boutiques. For time outdoors, the trails at Fryman Canyon and Wilacre Park climb into the Santa Monica Mountains with views back across the Valley.
Universal Studios Hollywood is a short drive east, and Laurel Canyon Boulevard leads over the hill to West Hollywood and Hollywood. Our Studio City home is a house with room for larger groups, a good fit for families, friends traveling together, and crews who want one place for everyone during a longer project.
